Terms of use

Last updated 15 September 2026

We let you upload document templates, share them with everyone else who uses this site, and fill in copies for yourself. By creating an account you agree to the terms below.

Your account

  • An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account counts as done by you.
  • You must give a working email address. It is the only way to recover the account if you forget your password.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

What you may upload

Only upload a template if you have the right to share it. Do not upload anything that:

  • you do not own or are not licensed to share, such as someone else’s design or a copyrighted document;
  • contains other people’s personal details without their permission;
  • is unlawful, deceptive, or intended to mislead the people who will fill it in;
  • is advertising, spam, or not actually a document template;
  • tries to run code, load remote scripts, or otherwise get round our upload protections.

We review templates. We may hold anything back from the shared library, hide it, or remove it at any time, without notice or explanation, and may close an account that uploads spam or unlawful material.

Who owns what

  • You keep whatever rights you have in the templates you upload.
  • By uploading one, you let us and everyone else who uses the site view, copy, fill in, print and export it for as long as it is in the library. If you remove it, this permission ends for new copies; copies people already filled in stay theirs.
  • A copy you fill in is yours. What other people fill in from your template is theirs.
  • The site’s own code and design belong to us.

Copyright and other complaints

If you believe a template infringes your copyright or other rights, and you did not upload it yourself, tell us which template it is, what right it infringes, and how to reach you. We may hide a reported template while we look into it. If we uphold the report, we remove the template and may close the account that uploaded it.

Fair use of the service

We limit sign-ups, uploads and exports for everyone. Do not try to get round those limits, run scripts against the site, probe it for weaknesses, or make it hard for other people to use. If you find a security problem, tell us rather than exploit it.

No promises

We provide the service as is, free of charge, with no guarantee that it will be available or error-free. Field detection is automatic and will sometimes be wrong; check a document before you rely on it. Keep your own copies of anything important. Save as PDF and Save as HTML exist for exactly that. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including lost documents or lost data.

Ending things

You can stop using the site whenever you like and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, and may shut down the site entirely; if we do, you will get reasonable notice where possible so you can export your copies.

Governing law

These terms, and anything arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes too, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the new version. Questions go to us. How your information is handled is set out in the privacy notice.
